12.26.17 || Sarah and Curren are from the Sacramento area of California and in December they were up to visit family, plan their wedding here in Washington and do their engagement session. Their engagement session took place at Dead Mans Cove on the Washington Coast which is located within Cape Disappointment. It’s one of those hidden gems but it’s not hidden very much. The Luxury of this spot is that it’s deep down a cliff side. You follow a steep hill down, pretty much a cliff side that you can either run down and hope you survive or you can take the trail that those before you built. Though the trail is still questionable. It’s all worth it in the end though for an amazing location. It is for sure on the bucket list for Photographing an elopement in this spot. Once we all made it down the tide started to roll in, though that wasn’t about to stop us, we worked fast and did the spots we knew we couldn’t reach once the water was in. This was one of those magical sessions that it was not a rainy day at the coast in late December and after a half hour of shooting we had every shot we needed. I guess thats the perks of photographing fellow photographers.
